Join Joel Plaskett Emergency and Port Cities for a unique concert experience on Georges Island in the middle of Halifax Harbour during Rendez-Vous 2017 Tall Ships Regatta.
VIP benefits are preferred departure times and priority departure (there will be two lines to leave and VIPs will go to front of their line - like a fast pass at a theme park. It's a BIG benefit.

Don't miss the opportunity to visit Georges Island National Historic Site during Tall Ships 2017! Learn about the early French connection to Halifax harbour as you experience the “Life of a Soldier” with costumed interpreters from Fortress of Louisbourg. Also, don’t forget to take a tunnel tour and go beneath Fort Charlotte.

A picnic in the Grand Parade, 1790 Argyle St., Halifax, on July 31 from 8a.m. to 10 a.m. It will feature local produce courtesy of the Halifax Convention Centre team and their in-house culinary experts, in support of Feed Nova Scotia. Volunteers from Feed Nova Scotia will collect donations.

Tall Ships Parade of Sail route:
Once in sequence the ships will sail south toward the mouth of the harbour circling Georges Island, gathering north of McNabs Island and sailing along the Dartmouth waterfront up to just south side of the Macdonald Bridge. They will then turn over to the Halifax side and sail out of the harbour all along the Halifax waterfront side.

A new feature of the Tall Ships gathering is a unique community opportunity to participate in a Dalhousie University led, blue wave, as part of the Parade of Sail. We’re asking everyone attending the Parade of Sail to wear blue on both sides of the Harbour as we wave farewell to the fleet with a celebration of our ocean pride.
